Sometimes life can throw toxic energy our way, but it also provides the unmarked, beautiful energies we need to expel the negativity. It isn’t easy to live with pain and no one must.

I’ve seen people live their whole lives in darkness that could have been light. It saddens me to think they could have achieved happiness and balance. That’s why this article has been written. I hope to help others attain the quality of daily life they deserve and move them towards the same healing that comes with a higher quality of life.

Meditation with crystals is an effective method to enhance your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual life. In the end, you’ll be able to port a shield over your own energy while dispelling the toxicity of your pain. Away with negative and in with the balanced light!

What You Will Need to Follow this Tutorial

  • Hematite: This will be your grounding crystal
  • Citrine: Your prosperity crystal
  • Rose Quartz: The crystal for healing your emotional self
  • Amethyst: Your rejuvenation crystal
  • Halite: Your energy and protection crystal

Alternative Position

In lieu of lying, you may also choose the lotus position or a chair. I’ve chosen to lie on a flat surface as a means to further relax the body and open the channels of meditation into a stronger ley line for absorption.

 

Alternative Crystals

If you can’t find the stones I’ve suggested before, here are some ideas you can substitute them with.

  • Hematite: Smoky Quartz, K2, Dragon Stone, or Prasiolite
  • Citrine: Green Jade, Tree agate, Quartz, or Pyrite
  • Rose: Moonstone, Carnelian, Selenite, or Shungite
  • Amethyst: Rhodonite, Danburite, or Desert Rose
  • Halite: Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz, or Petrified Wood (the stone)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Lie upon a Flat Surface and Set Your Crystals

Take your place on a flat surface, lie down, and place your crystals beside you on the ground. You’ll place these first, but not on you, so you can focus on the task of visualization as you place them.

Placing the crystals near their intended use will avoid searching for them and breaking your concentration.

When you lie down, make sure your back is flat on the surface, your knees are above your hips, and your hands lay in a circle atop your abdomen. The placement of your hands will help with your alertness if you begin to drift as they’ll separate and you will regain focus.

It’s time to place your crystals next to you.

  1. First, place the Hematite next to your lower abdomen.
  2. The Citrine will go next to your navel.
  3. Set the Rose Quartz adjacent to your heart.
  4. The Amethyst will be next to your upper cheekbone.
  5. Place the Halite above your head.

Now, close your eyes and take five deep, even breaths.

2. Place Your Grounding Stone

Pick up your Hematite; place it on your lower abdomen. Imagine the Hematite vaporizing into a smoky energy, flowing up and around your abdomen. Let yourself imagine the smell of smoked wood while the energy flows into your body, out, and into the Earth.

Let it overcome replace your own daily drifting with a solidified sense of self. Visualize your body. See it freed. Feel how the energy anchors you to Earth — the security of the stability.

See your own instabilities drift away, smoke in the air, drifting to be purified by the natural air of the world. Gone. Forgotten. Cleansed.

Breathe deeply; hold it for three seconds and release. Repeat this four times.

3. Place Your Prosperity Quartz

Next, place the Citrine atop your navel; visualize your crystal as a glowing energy expanding. See it radiating outward and enveloping you before it seeps into your body.

Let yourself feel it course through your body with its warmth. Notice how it heals and relaxes the muscles, release the tension, and absorb the entirety.

See your own tension drift away, smoke in the air, drifting to be purified by the natural air of the world. Gone. Forgotten. Cleansed.

Breathe deeply; hold it for three seconds and release. Repeat this four times.

4Place Your Healing Stone

Take your Rose Quartz; lay it on your heart. Imagine it as visual energy flowing into your heart, opening up the center, and expelling the hurt or losses you’ve suffered.

Let it light up your inner self, radiate its healing throughout, and brandish you with love and life. Visualize it pushing away the toxic emotion to replace it with purity and hope.

See your own pain drift away, smoke in the air, drifting to be purified by the natural air of the world. Gone. Forgotten. Cleansed.

5. Place Your Rejuvenation Quartz

Place your Amethyst atop your forehead, just above the brow. Visualize your third eye and the Amethyst’s energy enveloping your head. Watch it wash away the confusion, fear, and stress as it caresses first your temples, then your eyes, then your cheeks, and finally washing across the entirety of your face as the whole relaxes.

Feel yourself calm and relax, awash in the rejuvenation of fresh, light energy.

Breathe deeply; hold it for three seconds and release. Repeat this four times.

7. Repeat the Crystals

One by one, touch each crystal repeating the visualization. You’ll do this four times. Each time you repeat a step, you must feel the change in your own energy. Remember to visualize your negativity and toxicity drifting away in smoke form and vanquish it across the skies for natural purification through the air.

The more you do this, the higher the effect you’ll have on your own healing and the stronger the energy from the crystals will become. Deeper focus leads to a more beneficial meditation.

8. Visualize a Shield

Look upon the new energy within you, shape it into a shield that surrounds your body. Notice the shape, curve the edges with your mind, touch the impenetrable fields with your spirit, and let it encapsulate you entirely.

Let this energy rise within you, surround your mind, and sweep away your imbalance. Visualize the energy from all the crystals melding into you as one protective shield.

8. Visualize Absorbing the Energy

Visualize all the energies. See their golden colors, smell the smoky breeze of wood, feel the soft touch of freedom. See their life and realism embarking upon your spirit as a guidance and guardian. Welcome their gifts and accept their healing. See each one penetrate beyond life and into the body with gentle progression.

Now, visualize these energies as your shield against pain, unhappiness, and anguish. Feel how they protect you; relax into them and feel how your body absorbs their health as your own.

Breathe deeply; hold it for three seconds and release. Repeat this four times.

You’ll want to practice these meditation techniques on a regular basis. Regular meditation is good for the spirit and mind. While I would suggest a daily routine, doing it even three times a week will show some great results for the quality of your life.
