I Ching Hexagrams – Coming to meet: meaning of the lines
Line 1: The line depicts a young and inexperienced person who can avoid danger by self-control. Though the situation may look advantageous it doesn’t favor growth.
Line 2: The first (feminine) line belongs under the influence of the second one. You can avoid trouble if you use yang power on time and get the situation under control.
Line 3: The restlessness of the line makes motion insecure. Though you feel like the solution to the situation needs forward escape this is not true. The key of success is keeping calm.
Line 4: It doesn’t have any relation with the first line plus it rivals the others. Retreat!
Line 5: The goal of this line is to unite the other four yangs. If it joins with the second line it can determine the outcome of the situation.
Line 6: The line marks an isolated, stubborn and proud person who voluntarily goes into exile and isn’t able to connect with life’s wider range of actions.
