I Ching Hexagrams – Deliverance: meaning of the lines
Line 1: Though ice has started to melt, it’s too soon to act. We need to keep calm for a while.
Line 2: Let’s act! It’s the right time, if we don’t act now, we’ll lose the opportunity.
Line 3: This line denotes a high status but inconvenient person. Weakness and incompetence are not shameful until we find ourselves in a situation that exceeds our abilities. This line is just like a recruit who feels ashamed because of his/her own arrogance.
Line 4: This line averts the problem and it can move forward. The third line takes up its energy so the success of the fourth line can only be guaranteed if it can get rid of the influence of the third one.
Line 5: The fifth line merges with the second one in order to solve the problem. The solution will only be successful if we stay loyal to each other.
Line 6: Energy has overflown its peak. In this situation the only way we can be useful is to turn back and help others.
