I Ching Hexagrams – Grace: meaning of the lines
Line 1: This line is the symbol of a leg. People tend to replace their leg with beautiful cars. They ornament the car instead of making their legs stronger with long walks. Not even the priciest car is good enough to replace our legs.
Line 2: A lot of men think that a nice mustache is the symbol of manliness. But this is not true. Real man should have beauty, courage, honor, directness and other natural virtues. Don’t let externals deceive us. Appropriate this power to self-improvement.
Line 3: It’s good to spend time on self-improvement. Time spent on religion, learning or culture is good if we are not driven by vanity. Remember; never hide the shine of our inner beauty with useless ornaments.
Line 4: A grey-haired man arrives on a plain horse. He is honest and straight but judged wrongly because of his appearance. His honesty is finally accepted and he conquers the love of his life.
Line 5: Settle for a simple house. Convenience is not the result of luxury. The most valued things in life are peace and safety.
Line 6: Aim for simplicity. Titles and awards don’t make us better than other people. Be yourself!
