I Ching Hexagrams – The Gentle: meaning of the lines
Line 1: Hesitating is not good even if we are prone to. We need a soldier’s attitude. Proceed persistently.
Line 2: Accept help and service. Collect the proper information between the decisions.
Line 3: The line denotes a weak and depending person. He/She can’t decide and stand by. He/she doesn’t trust anyone in this situation and loses the opportunity.
Line 4: We can expect an abundant harvest. Continue with the right actions.
Line 5: Change needs to be implemented gradually. If we want to start something, start it gently. Follow the example of the grass: it rather bends than break.
Line 6: If we express our desires too politely or hesitantly, we lose the opportunity. If we are weak, we’ll also lose what we have already achieved.
