I Ching Hexagrams – Inner Truth: meaning of the lines
Line 1: At first the situation is lucky. However, if we lose our sincerity or ambitiousness we’ll be in trouble.
Line 2: It depicts a sturdy leader who is true to his principles and has a good relationship with everybody. The line shows that distance doesn’t set a limit to loyalty or our cherished wish will meet a warm response.
Line 3: In the lack of important principles the relation is confusing. The line is indecisive and vague.
Line 4: The line can choose the first and fifth line as well. If it chooses the first one, bad luck awaits, if the fifth one, success. You have to sacrifice self-interest.
Line 5: This line is the leader; its good communication skills ensure the power holding everyone together.
Line 6: You can’t help the upper line. The student’s behavior is improper; the teacher is entitled to be strict. This also symbolizes the right attitude in order to protect ourselves. Don’t be a robber against the robbers.
