I Ching Hexagrams – Keeping Still: meaning of the lines
Line 1: This line depicts the toes, the base of our movements. If we don’t know our next step, it’s better to keep calm.
Line 2: The line has to stay at its place. It can’t help its partner, the third line.
Line 3: In peace our mind is spoiling for action. If the body is unable to do so, the mind outruns it. In such situations it’s better to let things go with the flow and prevent the hustle of the mind.
Line 4: Every activity should be stopped now.
Line 5: This line refers to the calmness of the face. Speak only if we have something definitive to say.
Line 6: The organized and calm mind shows the highest level condition.
