Knight of Cups: general, standing and reversed meaning

Knight of Cups, general description

Knight of Cups is the 29th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

This card symbolizes the loving, peaceful atmosphere, cheerfulness and the wisdom of smile. It typifies contemplative times, harmonious unity and romantic daydreaming; the mood that we have when we are in love.

If by now conflict and bickering ruled our life the card shows compromise and peace. It denotes the daydreaming times of relaxation and repose when we enjoy the beauties of life, art and especially music.

Knight of Cups, standing

The essence of the water acts like fire, just like a tumbling river. A romantically passionate person full of charm and beauty, prone to extremities. Vigorous idealism with a pinch of kindness. Ambitious and all-pervading personality leads by emotions and to whom it’s important to help others.

Knight of Cups, reversed

The fiery aspect of water’s dark essence, just like a huge flood. Deceiving charm in favor of insecurity and changing mood. Selfishness, negligence and the total lack of maturity. Lost ideas, far from useful thoughts. Destructive, noxious passion.
