Knight of Pentacles: general, standing and reversed meaning 2017-02-23T13:04:39+00:00

Knight of Pentacles, general description

Knight of Pentacles is the 36th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

Knight of Pentacles represents the mood that allows us to create timeless and obvious values by diligence, perseverance and tenacity. It shows the gift for reliable and permanent things. It’s the stable, trustworthy ground, the base we can trust and build on.

Knight of Pentacles represents the atmosphere of Earth, the physical reality that creates security, in which the obvious results and pragmatic actions count, and, last but not least, that creates the frame for our sensual experiences. Only the exaggeration of all these will lead to stubbornness and rigid clinging to hard work or its opposite, the shameless laziness and sensual elusions.

Knight of Pentacles Tarot Card

Knight of Pentacles, standing

The fiery manifestation of the earth’s essence, just like melted magma. Someone who slowly braces him/herself up to act, but when he/she does, he/she is unstoppable. The voice of obligation, respect and responsibility. The presence of the will that wants to change reality. Someone who doesn’t use bold, hasted actions but success-proof and cautious solutions.

Knight of Pentacles, reversed

The fiery essence of earth, just like melted magma. Someone who acts slowly even in times of need. The power of nature that can’t be diverted from going into evil ways. The voice of obligation and honor far away from normal. Total lack of imagination and will even at the doorstep of total failure. Inaction and stagnation.
