Nine of Swords: general, standing and reversed meaning

Nine of Swords, general description

Nine of Swords is the 67th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

This is the card of the night watches; it refers to serious problems and depression. This can refer to the bad conscience that steals our dreams, to the threats of our life, illnesses or painful losses. It shows the fears of long nights when troubles keep us awake and we can’t wait the sun to come up.

The question is if insomnia is triggered by shame, guilt or fear over difficult tasks or the basic pillars of our life is threatened by something. The card only shows gloomy feelings, deep concerns, the fear of sudden wake ups and night watches.
