Queen of Cups: general, standing and reversed meaning

Queen of Cups, general description

Queen of Cups is the 28th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

Queen of Cups represents the feminine side of Water, it predicts psychic abilities and sacrificing. She expresses helping, healing power and inner vision.

Being like that she rules our unconscious fortitude, she is our inner Fairy and Wise sorcerer, our visionary interpreter of dreams and the clairvoyant who sees through the fog. She is said to be dark and mysterious because her source of wisdom is hidden and unapproachable by science.

Queen of Cups, standing

The essence of water, just like a deep, calm lake. Spirituality, maturity and skillfulness. An advisor or a healer. Someone whose comforting presence emanates deep love and spirituality. A peaceful poet who plays the part of a natural observer. Dreamlike and sensory reception of everything, just like the perfect, unconditional love.

Queen of Cups, reversed

The dark essence of water just like a sinister, deep lake. Lack of common sense that pushes off spirituality. Opening for bad relationships because of the intense fear triggered by solitude. Enthusiasm for fantasies and daydreaming by sacrificing practical abilities and practical, effective knowledge. Insecurity that leads to disrespect. Mistakes and exaggerated sensitivity over external impacts.
