Seven of Wands: general, standing and reversed meaning

Seven of Wands, general description

Seven of Wands is the 45th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

Seven of Wands means that we are going to be attacked; we’ll face our competitors, jealous people or other enemies who are often much stronger than us or they represent the majority. However, this card also shows that we have good prospects for success since we fight from a favorable position.

Plus it warns us to be smart and alert and not to giddily lose our point of vantage. Of course, this means technical assault in the rarest of cases, it’s rather about an intervention into our personal world or things that we gained or want to gain are threatened.

Seven of Wands (courage), standing

Bravely starting something despite of the adversities. Victory over the fear of failure. Overcoming big obstacles with heroism and resoluteness. Showing inner strength in the critical moment.

Seven of Wands (courage), reversed

You are unable to make a stand for your truth against the majority. Self-fulfilling fear from failure and shame. Huge challenges ahead, but cowardliness. Bickering, perplexity and indecisiveness in an important moment.
