Two of Wands: general, standing and reversed meaning

Two of Wands, general description

Two of Wands is the 40th card of the Major Arcana. It is part of Fatecaster’s Tarot card list that summarizes the Rider Waite Tarot cards’ meaning.

Two of Wands connects the description of a state with an instruction. It shows that we have a neutral viewpoint but we should have a clear and obvious attitude. Situations showed by this card are often paralyzing. There is nothing that could explain our depression and bad mood but we still strongly feel that something important is not okay. The card depicts such times when we find everything simply kind.

The reason of this is the fact that we’ve retreated into a neutral standpoint and keep ourselves clear from everything. We are so reversed that our soul can’t be touched at all and thus we impassively observe as life goes away. The only way to break out from this state is by transforming our ideas to convictions, our intentions to actions and we really commit ourselves to all these.

Two of Wands (Reign), standing

A grounded power and influence over others. Creating a goal and vision. Fighting with the past, understanding the present and making plans. Responsible leading.

Two of Wands (Reign), reversed

The loss of power and influence. Loss of goals or vision. Jolts from the past hit you unprotected. Incompetence and irresponsible leadership. Interest, clear mind and loss of faith in a business.
